Founded by the artist Deffine in 2011, MTM started as a mixtape. As time moved on, More Than Murder continued to grow, with Deffine expanding his involvement in the industry by forming MTM Studios. Creating a platform for himself and other artists to get professional and quality recording, mixing, mastering, beats, and industry know-how.
In 2022, Deffine turned More Than Murder into something bigger than a title, a studio, or a slogan. With the path much clearer now and the door being kicked open, a transformation was necessary. More Than Murder Records was born.
A new label backed by lifetimes of knowledge in the music industry, More Than Murder is about creating timeless music for rap and hip-hop fans alike. Bringing forward different experiences, perspectives, and styles from its artists to the world at large. Always learning, yet exceeding expectations and growing like wildfire; producing heat, moving fast and staying unpredictable.

More Than Murder Records always has its artists as top priority; however we are proud to be able to offer many services to the music industry. We offer skilled services to the right individuals from a magnitude of divisions.
From studio (production, recording, mixing, mastering and promotion) to ghost writing and collaborations, photography, film production, graphics and design, we can make any dream become a reality. Our in-studio and on-location filming can bring to life multi-level concepts including music videos, commercials and short features. Planning, locations and props can also be offered for a price. Prices for all services may vary from artist to artist.
